Yeah. I feel the same way. [ His expression is soft, looking at her like she hung the moon, and he kisses her again quickly. ] I don't think you're ever gonna have anything to be jealous of, anyway. You're amazing.

[ The way he's looking back at her just has her even more head over heels. She melts at the kiss, chasing to briefly lean her forehead against his. ] You're amazing. Even my closest friends don't have keys to my apartment.

Yeah? You really know how to make a guy feel special. [ He's teasing, a little, but it's also impossible to miss how pleased he is, being the only one who gets this kind of access to her life. It's a possessive feeling, but since when is that new? ]

My favorite gets all the special treatment. [ Yeah, she can see how happy it makes him, and that just has her all but floating with joy. One more kiss, this time lingering slightly, all those happy and loving feelings behind it. ]

[soicantlose]

[ He hums contentedly into the kiss, reaching up to cup her cheek, happy to linger as long as she wants. Just happy, really, with her there. ] I like being your favorite.

It's always gonna be you. No one else even comes close. [ Said in between kisses, and then nuzzling into his neck to kiss him there, too. ]

I mean, I hope they're not getting close to you, they'll have to get through me for that. [ He's joking, though it's not like it isn't true, too. He softens immediately, though, stroking at Becca's hair fondly. ] You know you're my favorite, too. It's not even a close race.

[cafeultra]

[ She knows how true it is, under the teasing, and she approves. That possessive side gets her every damn time. ] I know, but you know I love to hear you say it. Anyone else would have to get through me. [ Cheeky as ever, mostly joking. Becca's not a fighter by any means but if she got jealous enough, she'd absolutely throw down. ]

I wouldn't want them to get close enough for that anyway. Not when I can just have you. [ He bumps a kiss into her hair, squeezing her gently. ] Love you.

Love you, babe. [ Every so often, there's still that small feeling of surprise when he expresses his want for her. It never lingers long, but it's there. She nuzzles in again, tucking her head against his shoulder. After a beat of quiet, she perks up a bit. ] Those silly roadside attractions you went by seemed cool. I'm glad you shared that with me on your trip home.

Yeah? They seemed like the kind of thing you'd enjoy. [ He's pleased to be right about it. He strokes her hair idly, nuzzling at her. ] If I had you with me, I might've stopped at some of them.

I love all that cheesy stuff. [ She perks up a little at the idea of being with him on the road. Not for a job, necessarily, but... maybe it'd be nice for them to take a little trip. Something that's not them fleeing the city for temporary safety. ]

Wouldn't mind if we did a little road trip sometime.

[ He probably wouldn't take her if it was for work, anyway. It'd be mostly waiting around in a shitty motel for her, most likely, but -- it's still a little too close for him to feel comfortable. ]

That sounds like fun. Anywhere particular you'd want to go?

Anywhere, with you. [ Which... isn't really an answer, but it's the truth. She noses in against his neck before pressing a couple soft kisses there. ] We could have fun doing some silly tourist stuff. Maybe spend a weekend somewhere. You've probably been more places than I have, you might have better ideas.

Maybe, but I've never really done the tourist stuff. Always kind of... had specific goals, wherever I've been. [ He shrugs, pressing another little kiss to the top of her head. ] I think I could find somewhere you'd like, though. Get away for a couple days, stop anywhere you want on the way there and back.

[cafeultra]

It'd be nice. You and me, out there exploring. And I guess I could always use the break from work. [ Just the thought makes her sigh happily. ] I'm not a big theme park person, but I could be happy with most anything else.

[soicantlose]

No roller coasters. Got it. [ He grins, squeezing her gently. ] We'll figure something out, then. Sometime soon?

[cafeultra]

You definitely don't want me on a roller coaster. [ She laughs quietly, head resting against his shoulder. ] Soon would be nice. We'll take a picture in front of the silliest tourist trap we can find.

[soicantlose]

[ He strokes at her hair, settled and content. ] I like that plan. We'll have a couple of days with nothing to do but wander around and enjoy ourselves.

[cafeultra]

I love it. [ Her hand runs lightly up and down his back. ] What kind of stuff do you want to see?

[soicantlose]

[ He hums softly, considering. ] Guess it depends on where we go, right? Most places have to have some must-sees. I don't know what else. Any other kind of thing you'd want to look out for?

[cafeultra]

Anything educational or a little spooky? Or just weird. [ She laughs a bit sheepishly. ] I guess I'm nothing if not predictable. Some cool restaurants too, though.

[soicantlose]

Hey, nothing wrong with being predictable. It makes it easy to know what you'd like. [ He grins a little, nuzzling at her. ] I kinda figure good food is a given. But maybe I can find somewhere with some kind of ghost tour. Or a museum or something? Does it matter what it's educational about?

[cafeultra]

Anything. Museums, zoos, aquariums. [ She kisses his cheek. } That's true. I'm easy to please, and you're the very best at it.

[soicantlose]

And it's my favorite thing to do. [ He turns to catch her in a proper kiss, soft and quick. ] All right then. Spooky stuff and interesting stuff. With tourist traps on the way. I think I can find us something that fits the bill.
